Located in the municipalities of Mougins and Valbonne, this huge green space is equipped with numerous infrastructures. Forests, meadows, garigue, waterways... the park is home to an important bio diversity that will allow you to discover the Mediterranean flora and fauna.
Start your walk by the Fontmerle pond. An aquatic enclave where many species of plants live: reeds, rushes, irises, lotuses... The pond is bordered by 12 hectares of meadow where you can admire cypresses, willows, poplars...
On the fauna side, you can observe many species: ducks, carp, water hens, herons, Garenne rabbits, foxes... An ornithological observatory is located near the pond and will allow you to identify the different animals.
For sports enthusiasts, take advantage of the park's many facilities: a 1.4 kilometer fitness trail, a network of mountain bike trails, organized hiking trails, or an 8 kilometer horse riding trail.
Valmasque Park is also an ideal place for a family outing. Here you will find children's play areas, cycle paths, picnic tables and an insect discovery trail.
Many car parks are available for parking. The park is open every day, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April to October and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November to March.
